Terms and Conditions for Telecommunication Services of myFreeeway for End-Users
For mobile data subscriptions to be consumed within Geely vehicles.

1 Introduction
Freeeway AG, Thomas A. Edison Str. 2, 7000 Eisenstadt, Austria (“Freeeway”), provides digital subscription management and connectivity resale services via its myFreeeway platform.
The SIM card enabling connectivity is pre-installed in your vehicle by the vehicle manufacturer (OEM). The underlying telecommunication mobile data services is provided by the OEM’s licensed mobile network operator partner(s), all of which are duly licensed mobile operator in their respective jurisdiction.
Freeeway does not operate a mobile network. Freeeway acts solely as a reseller and subscription manager for connectivity services linked to your vehicle.
2 Regulatory Status
- In Austria, Freeeway AG is registered with the Austrian Regulatory Authority (RTR) under §15 TKG 2021 as a provider of electronic communication services.
- Freeeway is not responsible for regulatory obligations regarding lawful interception, numbering, and IP address assignment. These remain with the OEM’s mobile operator partner.
3 Service Description
- The “Freeeway Service” provides subscription access to mobile data connectivity for in-car infotainment services.
- Connectivity is enabled through the OEM installed SIM card in the vehicle and is available in the coverage area defined by the OEM’s mobile operator partner(s).
- In case of successful payment of a mobile data subscription, Freeeway enables the mobile data service for in-car infotainment services for the OEM installed SIM card in your vehicle.
4 The Contract
- By registering on freeeway.com, you enter into a resale agreement with Freeeway for subscriptions through this terms and conditions, and a telecom service agreement with the OEM’s licensed mobile operator partner (via the OEM)
- Activation of subscription does not activate the SIM card itself, but enables the telecommunication service used for in-car infotainment services within your vehicle.
- The contract becomes effective through signing up to a subscription offered in the myFreeeway Portal for the Freeeway
- During the registration process in myFreeeway Portal you may need to provide evidence of your personal identity (in accordance to the Telekommunikationsgesetz 2003 idF 11/2011 in Austrian Law §92 Abs. 3 Z3 lit. a, b and g) by using one of the following electronic service:
- Validation through photo identity
- Validation through bank identity, where available
5 Liability
- Freeeway’s liability is limited subscription resale, billing, platform support.
- Responsibility for the network provision and quality of the mobile connectivity lies exclusively with OEM mobile operator partner(s).
- Freeeway is not liable for outages, coverage gaps, regulatory restrictions, or failures attributable to the OEM’s mobile operator partner(s).
- Under no circumstances Freeeway is liable for slight negligence or any form of indirect or consequential damage, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, turnover or profits, loss of interest as well as resulting claims of third parties.
6 myFreeeway Portal
- You may view, purchase, upgrade or cancel connectivity subscriptions
- You can subscribe to a Freeeway Service by creating a personal account in the myFreeeway Portal under https://geely.freeeway.com.
- All personal data are to be provided and administrated using the myFreeeway Portal.
- You can also upgrade your subscriptions and may purchase additional services via myFreeeway Portal.
- Information about your remaining credits are displayed in the Portal. All usage information displayed in the portal is for orientation purposes only. As mobile networks do not provide details about the usage in real time, there is usually a delay between the information shown in the myFreeeway Portal and the actual data usage.
7 Mobile Communication Service
- The mobile communication service is provided through the SIM card that is pre-installed in your vehicle by the OEM.
8 Subscriptions Fees
- Subscriptions are made available on the myFreeeway Portal.
- By purchasing a subscription you get access mobile data services as defined in section ‎3, depending on the subscription selected.
- The subscription is valid for a pre-defined period, the “Validity Period”, as made available in the myFreeeway Portal for a Freeeway Service.
- The Subscription Fee is billed in advance for every Validity Period renewal.
- All Subscription Fees are made available for you in the myFreeeway Portal and are gross prices including VAT.
- The offered Subscription Fees may vary depending your country of origin.
- Prices are in relation to the currency on the region where you have your country of origin. The country of origin is obtained by the IP address your device uses during registration to the service in myFreeeway Portal and being correlated to your entered residential address.
- We reserve the right to change the Subscription Fees at any point in time. You will be notified for any Subscription Fee changes 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Subscription after the change of the Subscription Fee takes effect, constitutes your agreement to pay the new Subscription Fee. If you do not agree to the price plans, you may terminate the subscription.
- The ordered subscription renew automatically at the end of the Validity Period unless you opt-out for such renewals, or got cancelled by you.
- You can cancel a subscription via the myFreeeway Portal.
- If you cancel a subscription, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the Validity Period of your current subscription. You will not receive a refund in case the subscription is not fully used.
9 Fair Use Policies
- In case the subscription includes unlimited mobile connectivity service, the included mobile data shall be consumed in accordance with a fair use policy. The policy aims to prevent excessive usage that is not typical the use case of in-car infotainment services, or those for which the subscription is intended to.
- For every subscription offered, you may find the related fair use policies in the related “Fee Provisions” that are published by Freeeway under freeeway.comÂ
10 myFreeeway Payments
- Every payment in our myFreeeway Portal is processed through our payment service provider METEORPAYMENT Zahlungssysteme GmbH, Marokkanergasse 11/8, A-1030 Vienna, AUSTRIA [ATU14226103].
- Freeeway does not store any payment details, only the related transaction ID which includes the name of the paying party, the payment method and the related amount which was transacted.
11 Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by Austrian law, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
12 Regulatory Disclaimer
- Freeeway AG does not supply SIM cards and does not operate a mobile network. All mobile data connectivity is provided by the OEM’s licensed mobile operator partner(s). Freeeway acts only as reseller and subscription manager for connectivity linked to your vehicle.
